Statement of design for our Franklin Educational Foundation website

Artists’ Statement by Eileen Turpin and Victoria Insinna

We will work together to create a website for the Franklin High School Educational Foundation.  The foundation awards scholarships to Franklin’s college bound seniors. 

The main purpose of the foundation, like all charities, is to collect donations.  Thus, it will be important that the website projects a feeling of trustworthiness and seriousness.  The target audience will be people who value education and who are charity-minded, probably mostly upper-middle class people – people with money to spare for charity.

Although it will be important to keep the look conservative, at the same time, it should also have a feeling of youth and fun, since the foundation serves high school students.
